Destination Imagination Practice

My fourth grade students have been working on Destination Imagination projects. They were given 12 sheets of white paper and had to use them to build the tallest free standing tower. The students were only able to fold and tear the paper, no other tools were used in the process.

Rubik's Cube

My middle school gifted students “Can do the Cube”! We have just completed another successful unit on solving the Rubik’s cube. During this time last year the students worked with the Rubik’s cubes for the first time, and created a mosaic of Albert Einstein, this year the students chose to create Mahatma Gandhi. The students completed research on Gandhi, and learned about the impact he has had on our society. The students have learned how to solve the challenging puzzle, and have competed in competitions among one another for the fastest speed.

Amusent Parks

Recently, my Elementary gifted students completed an Amusement Park project. The students were required to create their own Amusement Park. The students had the option to write about their parks or they could create a 3D model. Here are some examples of their fabulous work.
