Independent Gifted Projects

I allowed my students to choose a project from a range of activities and topics.This particular student chose to create an engine. Below if a video and pictures of his creation. The student's projects ranged from writing poetry, creating artwork, inventing a new food and beverage, teaching the class, and creating a water wheel. I was very impressed with all their hard work.

Airline Scale

My 7th and 8th grade gifted students recently studied scale factor and we examined the ever changing airline seat. My students created a scale measurement, and then designed their own scale model of an airplane seat.

Homemade Ipod Docks

My students recently studied speakers and the ins and outs of how they operate. As a final project for this lesson, we created homemade IPod docking units.
